This workshop is designed for IB teachers seeking support with Internal Assessments (IAs).
Participants will have dedicated time to:
☑️ Align IA marking with colleagues teaching the same course ☑️ Review IA feedback & 2024 subject reports to refine marking practices ☑️ Organize and prepare IAs for submission ☑️ Receive guidance on IBIS uploads, including support and tutorials
Whether you need to fine-tune your assessments, ensure consistency in grading, or navigate the IBIS submission process, this session provides hands-on support to streamline your IA workflow.
Building on discussions from our recent faculty meeting at WMM, this conversation-based session will explore how teachers navigate and teach difficult topics in today’s classrooms. Educators will have the opportunity to share experiences, discuss challenges, and collaborate on strategies for fostering open, thoughtful discussions while addressing sensitive issues with care. While rooted in the Humanities, this session is open to all subject areas and will provide practical approaches to engaging students critically and empathetically with complex topics.
